PM receives grand welcome in Gujarat's Bhavnagar, development projects in focus

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in his home state of Gujarat to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects valued at ₹34,200 crore. The visit, part of the 'Samudra Se Samriddhi' event, focuses on enhancing the state's infrastructure and maritime sector. The Prime Minister's itinerary includes a roadshow in Bhavnagar, an aerial survey of the Dholera special investment region, and a review of the National Maritime Heritage Complex project in Lothal. This project, which aims to preserve India's maritime history, is being built at a cost of around ₹4,500 crore. The development initiatives also aim to create new opportunities in the shipping sector through public-private partnerships. Thousands of people lined the streets in Bhavnagar for the Prime Minister's roadshow.
