PM Modi Welcomes Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan To Winter Session

Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan at the commencement of the Winter Session of Parliament. In his address, PM Modi highlighted Radhakrishnan’s humble origins from a 'farmer's family' and his dedication to social service. The Prime Minister praised Radhakrishnan’s tenure as Chairman of the Coir Board, noting he 'converted it into a historically highest profit institution'. He also recalled Radhakrishnan’s service as Governor of Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Telangana, and Lt Governor of Puducherry. PM Modi commended the Chairman for his 'protocol-free' approach to public life.
