PM Modi receives Mauritius' highest honour

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been conferred with Mauritius' highest civilian honour, the Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean, during his two-day visit. The award ceremony took place at the National Day celebrations in Port Louis, despite heavy rain. Modi is the first Indian recipient of this prestigious award. Eight bilateral pacts were signed, strengthening India-Mauritius ties.
