PM visits Sai Baba centenary in Odisha, launches commemorative stamps, coins

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visits Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh to participate in the birth centenary celebrations of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, offering prayers at the Mahasamadhi. The event, attended by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, saw the Prime Minister release commemorative stamps and coins. On Platform X, Mr. Modi stated, 'Sai Baba's life and efforts for social service and spiritual upliftment will serve as a guiding light for generations.' The Prime Minister is also scheduled to interact with farmers and later travel to Coimbatore to inaugurate the South India National Farming Summit 2025 and release the 21st installment of PM Kisan. The week-long celebrations are expected to draw over two lakh devotees, with dignitaries like Sachin Tendulkar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also in attendance on stage.
