PM Modi congratulates Sushila Karki for becoming Nepal's interim Prime Minister

After days of violent protests and a regime change in Nepal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated Sushila Karki on becoming the country’s interim Prime Minister and wished the youth a bright future. Karki, a former Chief Justice, was sworn in Friday night, becoming Nepal’s first woman Prime Minister after KP Sharma Oli resigned amid anti-corruption protests.
