Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed solidarity with the tribal labourer, Dashmat Rawat, who was subjected to a urine incident. In a gesture of respect and empathy, Chouhan personally washed Rawat's feet at his official residence. The incident, which took place in Sidhi district, gained widespread attention after a video went viral, sparking outrage.
Following the incident, Pravesh Shukla, the individual captured urinating on the labourer in the video, was apprehended during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. Recognising the gravity of the situation, Chief Minister Chouhan personally apologized to Dashmat Rawat for the distressing incident.
To highlight the significance of this act of solidarity, pictures capturing the moment Chouhan washed the labourer's feet were shared on the Chief Minister's Twitter handle, garnering appreciation and support from the public.
