Videos: Roof of new Parliament leaks, complex waterlogged after heavy rain

Criticism mounted against the BJP-led Central government after the Congress and Samajwadi Party shared videos of water leaking in the Parliament lobby and waterlogged roads inside the building, only a year after its inauguration, amid heavy rainfall in Delhi.

Samajwadi Party chief and Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav called on the government to move the remainder of the monsoon session to the old Parliament building.

"The old Parliament was better, where even former MPs could come and meet. Why not return to the old building, at least while the 'water dripping program' is ongoing in the new structure built at the cost of billions," Yadav tweeted.
