Pakistan's ISI was involved in IC-814 hijacking: G Parthasarathy

In an exclusive interview with India Today Consulting Editor Rajdeep Sardesai, G Parthasarathy, former Indian Envoy to Pakistan at the time when Indian Airlines flight, IC 814, was hijacked in 1999, talked about Pakistan and ISI's involvement in the hijack and more. 

On who was involved in plotting the hijack, G Parthasarathy said, "It was totally Pakistani involvement. The persons concerned were Pakistanis. The people they wanted released were Pakistanis. So there is no question of Al-Qaeda, that's the farthest thing to say. And the fact of the matter is the Al-Qaeda did not have any great relationships with Pakistan to the extent that they could carry it into a hijack."
