Orange alert issued for West Bengal as Cyclone Sitrang intensifies

An orange alert indicating heavy rain has been issued for West Bengal as cyclone Sitrang intensifies over the Bay of Bengal. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the Central Bay of Bengal. Rescue teams have been deployed to evacuated people from areas to be most affected by the cyclone.
