In an exclusive interview with India Today's Pooja Shali, Karnataka minister Ashwath Narayan discussed the loudspeaker ban during Azaan in Karnataka, saying, "We are not trying to bring any new law."

"We are functioning as per the rules specified in the laws. We are not working in favour or against anyone," he added.
