No objection with Rahul Gandhi revealing identity: Rape victim's mother

After Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Twitter account was locked for sharing a picture of the parents of a nine-year-old Dalit girl who was allegedly raped and died at a crematorium in Delhi Cantonment, the victim's mother stated that she has no objections to Rahul Gandhi revealing their identity.

On August 4, Rahul Gandhi had met the parents of the victim to offer his support. He later tweeted a photograph with them in which their faces were clearly visible.

He captioned the photograph, "Parents' tears are saying only one thing -- their daughter, the daughter of this country, deserves justice. And I am with them on this path to justice.”
