NIA Court grants transit remand to Al-Qaeda terrorists

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) Court on Saturday granted transit remand to the six Al-Qaeda terrorists arrested by the agency from multiple locations across West Bengal and Kerala.

Earlier, NIA has busted Al-Qaeda modules in Murshidabad of West Bengal and Ernakulam in Kerala and arrested nine terrorists from the two states. The NIA arrested the 9 men with links to Pakistan-based Al-Qaeda after carrying out simultaneous raids at 11 locations in West Bengal and Kerala.
