The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) said it followed all procedures during raids and the action taken was as per rule of law in connection to the Mumbai cruise drug bust case where Aryan Khan and others were arrested.
In a press conference, Gyaneshwar Singh, Deputy Director General of NCB, said the allegations levelled against the central agency were "baseless".
"All the allegations levelled against NCB are baseless, motivated afterthoughts and prejudiced in nature. Such statements are based on conjecture and assumptions. These assumptions are frivolous and malicious in view of documents and records of procedures duly followed by NCB that can subject to legal verification," the NCB said.
The NCB's statement comes after Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik on Saturday alleged that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) let off a BJP leader's relative who was caught during the raid on board a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast last week.
