Addressing a rally in poll-bound Karnataka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the Congress for rampant corruption in the state.
Accusing the Congress government of corruption, he said, "I just learnt that the incumbent government is called 'Sidda-rupaiya' because you need to pay for the smallest of works."
Pulling the Siddaramaiah government over droughts in the state, PM Modi said, "Even if this government had worked just on the water woes in Karnataka, it would not have been staring at a defeat today. Despite the Tungabhadra dam, farmers are not getting water, homes are not getting water... no irrigation policy... but this government just does not listen."
