India, Russia sign 25 agreements, PM Modi lauds unparalleled ties

Russia and India on Wednesday exchanged 25 agreements in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi is in Russia on a two-day visit to attend the 5th Eastern Economic Forum for which he has been invited as a chief guest. PM Modi will also be awarded Russia's highest civilian award.

During the joint address of Russian President Vladamir and PM Modi at the Eastern Economic Forum, Narendra Modi lauded India's friendship with Russia and called the latter an "integral friend and trustworthy partner". PM Modi also said that the relationship between the two countries has only strengthened with time.
