Modi govt's expiry date is over, time to make new beginning, says Mamata Banerjee

Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today lashed out at Modi govt at a rally attended by at least 23 parties in Kolkata. She said that Modi govt's expiry date is over and it's time to make a new beginning.

"Modi ji's expiry date is over just like a medicine gets expired after its expiry date. It's time for a new morning now," Mamata said.

Switching between Hindi and Bengali, Mamata said, "The BJP is changing the history and the geography of the country. They [BJP] said they will provide two crore jobs but the same number of people have lost jobs. They have introduced reservation but there are no jobs in the country."
