Messi Kolkata Chaos: Mamata Govt Orders Probe, Organizer Satadru Dutta Produced In Court

The West Bengal government has constituted an inquiry committee headed by retired Justice Ashim Kumar Ray to probe the chaos at Kolkata's Salt Lake Stadium during Lionel Messi's visit. India Today's Anirban Sinha Roy reports that the panel visited the site where fans ransacked the venue on December 13. The main organizer, Satadru Dutta, has been produced in Bidhan Nagar court amid allegations of mismanagement and ticket prices soaring up to Rs 50,000. The BJP has also launched protests against the state government over the incident.
