Manipur CM Biren Singh meets Amit Shah day after all-party meet on violence in state

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh and Union Home Minister Amit Shah met on Sunday, June 25. The development came a day after opposition parties echoed calls to sack the chief minister in an all-party meeting led by Amit Shah in Delhi.

"The Home Minister has assured that the central government will take all possible steps to bring normalcy in Manipur," Biren Singh tweeted after the meeting.
