Mamata Banerjee urges Calcutta HC chief justice not to list Nandigram result case before Justice Chanda

After Trinamool Congress questioned HC judge's alleged link with BJP, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wrote to Calcutta High Court chief justice urging him not to list Nandigram result case before Justice Kausik Chanda.

Mamata also mentioned her previous objections to confirmation of Justice Kausik Chanda as a permanent judge of the Calcutta HC, expressing apprehension of bias on part of the hon'ble judge as Mr Chanda was an "active member of the bjp" as claimed by the CM.
