Mamata Banerjee installs Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar's statue in Kolkata

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday installed Bengali reformer Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar's statue at Vidaysagar in Kolkata, West Bengal.

The installation of the statue comes after the bust of Vidyasagar was destroyed on May 14 during BJP president Amit Shah's roadshow in Kolkata.
