Mamata Banerjee appoints Alapan Bandyopadhyay as her chief advisor

Amid the ongoing tussle between the Centre and Bengal govt, CM Mamata Banerjee has appointed appointing state Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay as chief advisor, after allowing the bureaucrat who was ordered by the central government to report to Delhi, to retire.
