Mamata Baneree, Priyanka Gandhi slam Centre for wrestlers' detention

Wrestlers including Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat, and Sakshi Malik were detained by the police as they walked towards the new Parliament to conduct the 'Mahila Mahapanchayat' demanding action against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan.

Opposition leaders, like, Mamata Banerjee, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reacted to the reports of 'manhandling' and detention of some of these athletes who were marching towards the new Parliament.
