'Ram, Ram!': Passengers panic as Maha Kumbh fire seen from train window

A massive fire broke out at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on Sunday, sparking panic among attendees and nearby commuters. The blaze erupted at a campsite, engulfing several tents in a matter of minutes, creating a scene of chaos.

The fire, visible from a passing train, left passengers in alarm, with one woman exclaiming, "Ram Ram!" as flames lit up the horizon. Local authorities, in coordination with police and fire departments, acted swiftly to contain the situation, managing to extinguish the fire in a short time.

A senior police official said that two-three cylinders exploded in sector 19 of the Maha Kumbh Mela, causing a massive fire in the camps. The official confirmed that nobody was injured in the incident.
