Maha Kumbh has turned into 'mrityu kumbh': Mamata Banerjee slams UP government

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee criticised the Yogi Adityanath government for the management of Maha Kumbh, calling it 'mrityu kumbh'. She alleged bodies were sent to Bengal without post-mortems to avoid compensation. Banerjee claimed there was mismanagement and unnecessary hype around the event. BJP leader Sukanta Majumdar refuted the allegations, stating the party would assist in obtaining post-mortem reports if needed.
