Lok Sabha polls 2024: All about Udupi Chikmagalur Constituency

Ahead of elections, focus narrows on the Udupi Chikmagalur constituency, a celebrated blend of coastal and mainland regions of Karnataka. Known for its rich hill stations, the region also boasts of strong tourist and cultural attractions, ranging from Sringeri Temple in Chikmagalur to Krishna Math in Udupi. Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje's has had a hat-trick of wins in this constituency. The BJP sees this region, where it has previously gained four assembly seats, as its stronghold. However, the Congress is hopeful of creating an upset here.
