After talks with protesting farmers, the Uttar Pradesh government agreed to give Rs 45 lakh and a job to families of the four farmers who were killed during violence at Lakhimpur Kheri on Sunday. The injured will be provided aid of Rs 10 lakh each.
UP Police ADG (Law & Order) Prashant Kumar said an FIR will be registered based on the farmers' complaint and a retired high court judge will probe the matter. Watch the video for the full report.
