Lakhimpur Kheri: Was not present at violence site, says Union minister's son Ashish Misra | Exclusive

Ashish Misra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Misra, on Tuesday said he was not present at the site where the violence took place in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri killing eight people including four farmers. He said he was attending a dangal event where around 2-3000 people were present while the incident took place.

"I was not present at the site where the violence took place. I was attending a dangal event on October 2 where 2-3000 people were present. How the whole incident started needs to be investigated fully. I believe in the judicial system," Ashish Misra said in an exclusive interview to India Today TV.
