Kerala confirms first case of coronavirus

The first case of the deadly coronavirus was confirmed from Kerala, said a statement by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) of India. "The patient has tested positive for novel coronavirus and is in isolation in the hospital. The patient is stable and is being closely monitored," the statement said.

The deadly virus has now affected people globally, as several cases have been confirmed in the United States, Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, France among other countries. For more, watch this video.
