Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said the Kashmiri youth can now dream of political opportunities and the Modi government at the Centre has brought democracy at the grassroot level in Kashmir
"On 5 August 2019, we saw a new beginning for Jammu and Kashmir. From fear, terrorism, corruption, and family-based politics, there have been peace, development, and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir now. The youth of Jammu and Kashmir have to provide strength to the peace and development process in Jammu and Kashmir. An opportunity was provided to the youth of Kashmir," Amit Shah said.
"Kashmiri youth couldn't have entered politics before August 5, 2019. Before, Kashmir was ruled by only three families. The Modi government brought democracy at the grassroot level in Kashmir. Today the youth of Kashmir can dream of political opportunities," Amit Shah said.
