Karnataka govt restricts media coverage in state assembly

The Karnataka government has restricted media coverage inside the state assembly.

While there are no restrictions on media persons from private news channels, they will not be allowed to shoot proceedings of the Karnataka Assembly anymore.

With no permission to directly air feed, the output will now be shared by the Karnataka government with media houses similar to Lok Sabha TV and Rajya Sabha TV.
