Karnataka: Despite ban due to Covid-19, BJP MP visits Chamundeshwari temple for worship

The ban on places of worship in Karnataka has had no effect on BJP MP from Udupi Chikmagalur, Shobha Karandlaje. Shobha Karandlaje reached Chamundeshwari temple in Karnataka, where she offered prayers.
The District Collector has said that they will investigate this matter. The DC order clearly states that the temple will be closed because of coronavirus

But on Friday, BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje reached Chamundeshwari temple in Mysore despite the ban. The administration has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
