Karnataka Assembly Speaker KR Ramesh Kumar resigned from his post after Yediyurappa-led BJP government won the floor test and proved their majority in the house today.

Ramesh Kumar on Sunday disqualified the 14 rebel MLAs with immediate effect, days after the Congress-JDS government collapsed after losing the confidence motion.
