Days after Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha's arrest, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) claimed that she conspired with top AAP leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, for favours in Delhi's liquor policy.
The ED released a statement, which said, "The investigation reveals that K Kavita, along with others, conspired with the top leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party, including Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, for getting favours in the Delhi exercise policy formulation and implementation. In exchange of these favours, she was involved in paying 100 crore rupees to leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party. Shrimati K Kavita and her associates were to recover the proceeds of crime paid in advance to AAP and to further generate profits from this entire conspiracy." Â
K Kavitha was arrested by the ED in Hyderabad on March 16, after searches at her Hyderabad home.Â
