Journalist Mick Brown, who tracked Nirav Modi, speaks about his arrest, bail rejection

As the UK court's rejected absconding diamond businessman Nirav Modi's bail plea and sent him to eight days custody, India Today spoke to the Telegraph journalist, Mick Brown, who had tracked down the businessman, about court's proceedings and his arrest.

Brown said that the arrest of Nirav Modi came as a surprise to him and that court's decision was on expected lines.

On March 9, in an exclusive report the UK Telegraph posted a report along with a video on Twitter claiming that Nirav Modi was living openly in a swanky 8-million pound apartment in London's West End and running a new diamond business.
