Jagan wave in Andhra: YSRCP sweeps Mandal, Zila Parishad polls

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's wave in Andhra Pradesh continues, with the ruling YSR Congress Party sweeping the polls in Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituencies (ZPTC) and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies (MPTC).

The party bagged a majority of the ZPTC and the MPTCs till Sunday evening.

According to results announced by the State Election Commission (SEC) as of 6.30 pm, the ruling party had won 340 of the 515 ZPTCs for which elections were held in April of this year.
