J&K: 2 militants killed in encounter with security forces near Srinagar

Two LeT terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces on the outskirts of Srinagar on Saturday.

One of the two terrorists eliminated today has been identified as Ishfaq Rashid, a resident of Sozeith village in Srinagar. He was a top Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander active in the area since 2018 and wanted in many cases of violence. The other terrorist killed in the encounter is Aijaj Bhat, also an important LeT cadre from Pulwama district.
