ISRO to launch European Space Agency's Proba 3 mission

ISRO is preparing to launch the European Space Agency's Proba 3 mission from Sriharikota using a PSLV-XL vehicle. Set for 4 December at 4 pm IST, this mission features two spacecraft flying in formation to examine the sun's corona. With an artificial eclipse created by the satellites flying 150 meters apart, scientists aim for a detailed study of the sun's outer layer.
