Is it time to restore communication in Kashmir?

The Eid prayers in Kashmir on Monday were limited to neighbourhood mosques as authorities imposed strict controls and security forces fanned out across towns and villages, restricting the movement of people and prohibiting congregations in large grounds.

Phone lines, mobile or landline, as well as internet connections have been suspended for the last eight days.
