Indian Medical Association seeks central law against violence on doctors

As the doctors' strike entered fifth day today, Indian Medical Association (IMA) has demanded a central law against violence on doctors.

Meanwhile, IMA has already called for a nationwide doctors' strike on Monday to express their solidarity with their counterparts in Bengal, who have been on strike since Tuesday after some doctors were attacked by a patient's family in NRS College and Hospital in Kolkata.
