Mind Rocks 2017: Seeking a job in IT sector? Unlearn to relearn, say top recruiters
At the India Today Mind Rocks 2017 at the Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi, top recruiters said that employers are looking for learnability, willingness to collaborate and take responsibilities in potential candidates.
Despite the rise of automation in the information technology (IT) industry, the basic values that drive the industry have remained the same. This was the key takeaway from the session on 'Jobs in IT-Reinventing India's Role'.
Present at the session were Ira Gupta, HR head at Microsoft India, Subrat Chakravarty, senior vice-president, HR at HCL Technologies, Yogesh Mishra, vice president at Thomas Assessments (India and Saarc), Hitesh Oberoi, co-founder, MD and CEO of InfoEdge-Naukri.com, and Pankaj Agarwal, chancellor, Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University.
