At the India Today Conclave in Mumbai, Aaditya Thackeray commended the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena government, calling it one of Maharashtra's best due to its inclusive governance. He emphasised the unity and shared mission of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, stating that their focus is on safeguarding Maharashtra's pride. Despite uncertainty over who will lead the alliance as chief minister, Thackeray expressed confidence that this challenge would be addressed collectively.
Thackeray also criticised the Eknath Shinde-led government, accusing them of trying to acquire land under the slum rehabilitation scheme to relocate Dharavi residents. He further alleged that the Adani Group had been given additional, unspecified concessions in the Dharavi redevelopment project.
