India's Covid-19 cases stand at 21.53 lakh with over 43,000 deaths

India's Covid-19 cases stand at 21.53 lakh with 43, 379 deaths so far, according to Health Ministry. In the last 24-hour, 64,399 cases were reported from across the country with 861 deaths.

The coronavirus cases tally in India includes 628,747 active cases, comprising 29.20 per cent of the total caseload in the country. A total of 14,80,885 have recovered from the virus, according to the Ministry of Health.

This is the third consecutive day that the coronavirus cases have increased by more than 60,000. India had crossed the 20-lakh mark on Friday.
