Imprint of India's change growing bolder: Vajpayee at India Today Conclave

While speaking at the India Today Conclave 2004, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee said that Conclave 2004 has coincided with election 2004.

In his speech, Vajpayee touched upon various topics.

Vajpayee said that every Indian living in India or abroad has always believed that India is a great nation and has wondered why the world has not acknowledged this obvious truth.

He said that we tend to judge ourselves by our potential whereas others judge us by our performance.

"India is changing and changing very rapidly. The imprint of this change is becoming bolder and more attentive. The world has recognised us due to our good economic performance and growing markets," Vajpayee had said.
