Aaditya Thackeray hits back at Nepo Kid label, says proud of family legacy

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray pushed back against detractors who brand him a "nepo kid," saying he is proud of his family's political heritage. Speaking at the India Today Conclave in Mumbai, Thackeray drew comparisons with other politicians' children, including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and BCCI secretary Jay Shah, son of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. "I am very proudly the grandson of my grandfather, the son of my father and mother. I am proud of the bloodline of this family and the values it holds," Thackeray said. The Worli MLA also addressed various political and civic issues at the summit. He commented on speculation regarding a political reunion between Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray, stating he could not speak for the two cousins.
