The hospitality industry across India has suffered a massive blow due to the coronavirus lockdown and the pandemic situation in the country. The situation is grim and hotels in Bengaluru have asked for financial aid from the government to sustain. This even as the government has allowed delivery of food and dine-in, but, business is not normal and the industry is crippling under the situation. The hotel industry has demanded a financial aid of Rs 5,000 crore for staff and waiving off of excise fee for a year for hotels and bars. Watch the full report here.
