HMPV cases: No reason to worry, we are monitoring situation, says government

Union Health Minister JP Nadda said that there is no reason to worry after three HMPV cases were reported in India and added that the government is closely monitoring the situation. 

JP Nadda further said that the virus is seasonal and spreads through the air and the health systems and surveillance networks are prepared to respond to any challenges. 

Three infants from Karnataka and Gujarat have tested positive for HMPV.
