Hindu Mahasabha leader Ranjit Bachchan leader killed in Lucknow    

Vishva Hindu Mahasabha state president Ranjit Bachchan was killed in Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow on Sunday. The state chief was taking a stroll in Hazratganj when the assailants opened fire on him and killed him on the spot.

The incident occurred near the CDRI building in Lucknow's Hazratganj. The incident comes at a time when many people are protesting against the new citizenship law that aims to expedite non-Muslim immigrants from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. For more, watch this video.
