High Court said survey of Gyanvapi mosque should start, says Hindu side lawyer

The Allahabad high court on Thursday dismissed the Muslim side's plea, giving a nod to the survey of the Gyanvapi mosque complex. Vishnu Jain, representing the Hindu side in the Gyanvapi survey case, said that Allahabad High Court upheld the sessions court order and said the survey should resume. 

He said the court heard our arguments which stated that the survey wouldn't damage the structure. 

A Varanasi court had earlier directed the ASI to conduct the survey, including excavations, wherever necessary, to determine if the mosque was built at a place where a temple existed earlier.
