Hathras case: SIT records victim's father's statement

Even though the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to hand over the entire probe into the Hathras 'gangrape' case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the three-member Special Investigation Team constituted by the state government to look into the case is carrying on its investigation.

The SIT is the victim's village and recorded the victim's father's statement today. The SIT submitted its first probe report to the state government on Friday.
