Hafiz Saeed's Terror Plot Exposed? LeT Cleric's Visit to Indo-Bangla Border Sparks Alarm

This special report focuses on a major security alert for India following the visit of Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer, a close associate of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) founder Hafiz Saeed, to Bangladesh's Rajshahi district, near the Indian border. His presence is viewed as part of a sinister 'Bleed Northeast India' plot, raising concerns about the new interim government in Bangladesh led by Muhammad Yunus. According to reports, 'within the regime or the rule of Mohammed Yunus, these organizations are not only being promoted, but they are being patronized.' The visit, which included inflammatory speeches, comes amid fears of a growing Pakistan-Bangladesh nexus aimed at destabilising India's northeast, especially after the ouster of the Sheikh Hasina government in August 2024. The programme also notes that fugitive preacher Zakir Naik has been invited for a month-long tour of Bangladesh, further heightening regional security concerns.
